Head of Diversity & Culture Tik Tok
Responsibilities
The Head of Culture & Diversity for TikTok North America, is a senior role that will take the lead on defining the company’s beliefs and values. This person will, in partnership with our leadership team, define and articulate core beliefs and cultural priorities as well as provide expertise and support in the areas of diversity & inclusion, learning and development, philanthropic outreach and building effective teams with these core values in mind. This role will also guide and help execute activations around the company’s mission including leading internal and external events designed to celebrate and promote company beliefs and values. Responsibilities: 1. Work with leadership to develop and establish the values and key beliefs that define the Tiktok brand and its constituents in North America - employees, creators, partners, audience and external organizations. 2. Design and lead initiatives to build the company culture for the organization in the designated region: closely work with leadership to manage internal communications, organize events and campaigns to inspire employees and bring TikTok core values to life. 3. Work with HR and leadership to develop and implement strategies to meet established diversity & inclusion goals both within the organization and for the product. 4. Enhance our employer branding through external efforts and own the execution from conception to implementation. 5. Function as a high profile external liaison and representative of the company’s mission and values - working with CSR organizations that align with our core beliefs. 6. Keep abreast of industry knowledge and trends in topics of culture and diversity and inclusiveness. 7. Lead local Internal communication team.
