Anifa Mvuemba of Luxury Label Hanifa is the Future of Fashion

You know the saying, “give a black woman anything and she’ll make it better,” and that’s exactly what Anifa Mvuemba has done with her luxury label Hanifa. Although the pandemic has left the fashion industry with a huge obstacle on how they’ll move forward in the future, Mvuemba didn’t let that stop her from putting her best foot forward. The designer who usually has beautiful photoshoots in exotic places with models for her clothes, instead has been using 3D Models to showcase her newest pieces.

This past Friday evening, Mvemba took the fashion industry and much of social media by storm when she premiered her Pink Label Congo Collection via Instagram live. The show began with her speaking about what her fashion journey has been since the line’s inception in 2012 and showed off a vibrant collection inspired by the Congo.
