Estée Lauder: Social + Campaign Video Editor/Videographer - Bumble and bumble

Position Summary:

A video editor/camera operator for social and campaign content that is optimized for the platform. A multi-hatted creative working within the 360 Campaign team on the concept, creation, and production of brand content for social, campaigns, and education. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners and must uphold the brand’s equity and desirability. Must have experience as a video editor, camera operator, and still photographer. This position reports to the Associate Design Director, Video in the 360 Campaign team, and partners closely with several team members in Creative.

Responsibilities:

·  Film and edit 360 Campaign content including social, how-to videos, campaigns, and education.

·  Concept and execute storyboards for content needs.

·  Film/photography of behind-the-scenes content at NYFW, Campaign shoots, and special events.

·  Ability to concept and execute on briefs.

·  Manage small-scale shoots (example: how to video) including identifying shot list, work on casting, align with team + key cross-functional partners.

·  Collaborate and support Associate Director on video shoots including planning, brainstorming, EQ rental, set up, lighting, sound engineering, digital tech, camera operation.

·  Handle sound recording and mixing for voice overs on video shoots.

·  Keep up with the latest social + cultural video trends.

·  Create elevated/uplifting content and create desirability on social/digital.

·  Create quick compelling edits that is optimized for the platform the content will live on.

·  Edit multiple video formats from raw footage to final product in a way that is native to the intended platform.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

·  Well-versed in After Effects, Premier, Media Encoder, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom, Davinci Resolve, Frame IO, and Capture One.

·  Outstanding collaborator, team player, artistic, conceptual, and technical skills.

·  Understand the social video landscape, social trends, and best practices.

·  Excellent communication and design skills.

·  Enthusiastic and inspired approach to all projects big and small.

·  Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

·  Knowledge of Canon cinema cameras is a plus.

·  Beauty and/or fashion experience is a plus.

Education and Experience:

·  3-4 years’ experience shooting and editing video.

·  Experience with event or portrait photography.

·  Experience with cinematography and lighting (both continuous and strobe).

·  Bachelor's degree in video, film, or design.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.

Content Manager, NBA

Position Summary:

This position is part of the NBA Social & Digital Content team which focuses on identifying, creating, distributing and publishing content to the NBA's social and digital platforms and its many domestic and international partners throughout the world. As the demand for content on the NBA's social platforms continues to grow, this is your opportunity to grow with us in a fast-paced, innovative and collaborative environment, reaching social followers around the world!

The ideal candidate is a vertical video platform expert with strong knowledge of Snapchat and TikTok. They know all the latest trends, how to create content on each platform, fully understand the publishing process and can analyze metrics to optimize content. This candidate also has their finger on the pulse of the NBA and spends their free time immersing themselves in podcasts, message boards and consuming short and long form content about the NBA.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the NBA's strategy on Snapchat and TikTok, which includes:

    • Managing content planning for daily and nightly publishing by focusing on NBA storylines, as well as vertical video platform trends

    • Managing the NBA's Snapchat Shows including: 'NBA Highlights', 'Best of the NBA' and 'NBA Presents Swish Cultures Weekly'

    • Analyzing metrics and making data-based decisions to optimize and maintain the NBA's content strategy

    • Monitoring platform trends and brand health to make content decisions for the NBA's accounts

    • Developing plans for all on-platform tools outside of general content publishing, including AR Effects, Shopping, Cameos, Challenges, etc.

  • Manage publishing to the NBA's accounts and overseeing a publishing team, which includes: Recruiting, hiring and training publishing team

  • Managing publishing team schedules

  • Educating publishing team on the latest platform trends and analytics insights

  • Publishing content by writing copy, selecting hashtags, tagging appropriate accounts and using any necessary effects, filters or text over the content

  • Work with multiple teams internally to content plan for and to optimize content on platforms, including the NBA Social Content Planning and Programming team, the Digital Strategy and Analytics team, the Video Content Creation team, the Content Design team, the Partner Integration team and the Content Partnerships team

  • Present strategy and insights to select internal and external groups

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 3+ years of experience publishing to and managing social media accounts for a large brand

  • Knowledge of Snapchat and TikTok platforms and products at an expert level

  • Understands all features of platforms outside of just publishing, including AR Effects, Shopping, Cameos, Challenges, etc.

  • Knowledge of the NBA at an expert level, and is passionate about the storylines surroundings its players, coaches, teams, statistics, standings and history of the league, as well as excellent understanding of basketball stats and analytics, the rules of the game and the history of the game

  • Experience creating basketball content

  • Strong understanding of the NBA's social voice

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as this position may include working days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the NBA calendar

  • Ability to work on deadline and handle multiple tasks at once with a precise and detail-oriented approach

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while handling critical tasks in a composed and timely manner

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Great communication skills and ability execute feedback given

  • Must be a team player who can work collaboratively

Education:
