Director of Grants

Color Vision is searching for a Director of Grants. The ideal candidate will be based in the Washington D.C./MD area with a 100% remote option. This is an independent and flexible contract, you can work anywhere/anytime.

Responsibilities include:

Write grants based on corporate guidelines and priorities.

Contact outside consultants for grant writing if needed.

Search potential funding organizations and identify possible grant opportunities .

Work with grant team to complete assigned tasks within the deadlines.

Organize regular grant meetings to discuss about updates, issues and recommendations.

Assist in preparing budget for grant applications.

Write grant proposals and ensure error-free grant submission.

Maintain grant database for future reference purposes.

Prepare grant applications, proposals, correspondences and other documents for new and existing funders.

Monitor and track submitted, pending and on-going proposals.

Assist in developing annual reports, news letters, and brochures.

Write compelling, effective and well-written grant proposals.

Interact with funding organizations regarding status of grant applications.

Build positive relationship with existing and potential funding sources.

Maintain complete records of past and current proposals.
