About Us:
Color Vision, founded by Mia Davis in 2017, is a woman-led empowerment organization dedicated to improving fairness and equity in creative industries. Our mission is to support women of color through training, mentorship, and resources, ensuring equal opportunities in employment, business, and higher education.
Internship Opportunities:
We are excited to announce internship openings for **Social Media Interns** and **Event Interns**. These roles offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Social Media Intern:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance our online presence.
- Create engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with our community.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide insights for improvement.
- Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns.
Qualifications:
-College sophomore, junior or senior
- Passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Event Intern:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing events, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, and catering.
- Support event promotion through various channels.
- Manage event registrations and communications with attendees.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
-College Sophomore, junior or senior
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for event planning and coordination.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
