Apply: Dope Black Girls Brunch Scholarship Fund

Through a collaborative partnership Color Vision and Black Girls Vote has established a scholarship program to help black women students get on the fast track to a rewarding career. Applicants will be eligible to win a $500 scholarship to go towards the 2020-2021 academic year.

Eligible applicants must:

* Be an African American Women who is a U.S. Citizen;

* Be a 2 year community college or 4 year student attending any four-year accredited college or university in the fall of 2020;

* Maintain cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale;

* Major in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or Political Science

Also, applicants must complete the online application and submit the following application materials by the application deadline ( September 24, 2020):

Applicants must answer one of these two questions and submit their essays in a word document to info@colorvisioncreates.com by 11:59 p.m. EST on September 24th, 2020. Essay must be 500 words or less.

1.) Why do you think it’s important that black women that black women are represented both behind the scenes and in front of the scenes in creative industries ?

2.) Why do you think it’s vital black women vote in big numbers during the 2020 Presidential Election

Winners will be announced during a zoom reception on October 3rd, 2020 and notified prior to the event.
